Leave it to me to go right past the simple solution, thinking it has to be a major problem. Scootchu and Stepman hit it dead on. Last weekend I spend a lot of time and a lot of muscle making the 45 year old hood hinge on the left side look like new. Guess what is located directly under the hood hinge. That's right - the plug to connect the electrical system to the firewall. Plugged it back in and she came back to life. I must have knocked it loose without even knowing it.
Thanks to all. Now I can make the cruise in tomorrow night.
