So I bought a shortblock yesterday. Scat forged crank and H beam rods, keith black forged piston. I already have afr 185 #1422 heads, airgap intake. 1.6 7/16 magnum roller rockers. I will be taking a lot off my current 5.0 since it is practically brand new as well.
So where do I start

Actually the short block is complete. The crank sitting there is for a 455 pontiac. I ordered arp studs for the heads and a pushrod checkar. should be here tomarrow. my thinking is to get a cam picked out and installed. then install heads with gaskets roller rocker and check pushrod length so i can get those ordered. I bought royal purple assembly lube.
LMAO!!! Kalli we need to hang out...I called my brother and he said "well did you get your cam ordered?" I said "no but i bought a 12 pack of octoberfest..."
