Default Best restoration book/manual for a 65?

I already have a shop manual for my car but I was wondering what, if any, restoration book/manual you guys recommend?

Mustang Restoration Handbook by Don Taylor & Tom Wilson, published in 1987 by HPBooks, Still a top seller! specific info for 65-70 mustangs. This book has incredible repair info, not just restoration info. Stuff that is not covered by the shop manuals. Things like not only where connectors are located but unusual ways and tools required to remove them. Complete info to take apart and put everything back together correctly. Lots of GREAT info.
If you are anything like me.. 3 shop manuals, exploded view parts CD-rom, wiring diagrams books and on and on... I would probably by the Shop manual on CD before buying the book if I had a chance to do it again.. can search the entire manual, enlarge pictures and print out specific pages or chapters instead of taking the manual outside and getting it dirty/ripping it (PDF File of the entire manual on CDrom). Pages are coming out of 2 of mine now<grin>
But anytime I am going to do a repair or restoration, I always look to the Restoration Handbook first. Saves a lot of time and helps plan my next project. Darn, wonder if they have Rim restoration info.....
Hope that helps

Thanks Ed. I was actually looking at that book on Amazon earlier so that info did help.

I bought the shop manual on CD for those very reasons. I have a habit of getting grease all over everything in the garage when I am working so being able to print out whatever pages I need at the time is great.

Thanks again!

I was just looking up another book and thought about your book request, this should really help.
You can read about a dozen chapters of the actual book online at Google Books for free. The exact link for this one is:

http://books.google.com/books?id=O4c...age&q=&f=false

I am also looking at "101 Projects for you Mustang" and the second volume of it (second one is not on Google Books yet). There are a few Mustang restoration books online there that you can read a good portion of in order to help you decide if it is for you. Just search for "Mustang restore". They also have a few shop manuals and such that you can flip through. It really helps so you don't end up buying a book that is useless to you.
