Question Cowl seal for 71 Mach 1

We're putting in a new cowl seal. The new cowl seals have plastic pins that are separate from the seal. Do you put the pins in separately and have to put some sort of an adhesive on them or do they just create drag against the seal so it won't slide after installation? We haven't removed the old one yet and there aren't any instructions to tell you what the function of the pins are. We know they are to keep the seal from sliding....we're just not sure if you need to glue them. If you need to glue them is there a special glue you need to use? Thanks.

This turned out easier than we thought it would. Our cowl seal is in.

The T pins poke through holes in the seal (typically you have to poke these holes yourself), then push into the cowl. No glue required. (for those who wondered)
