driving a high-stall torque converter is interesting. everybody should do it at least once in their life. it's a totally different experience from a normal transmission. everything feels .. sort of loose.
Definitely. For that loose reason, my husband absolutely HATES the stall on his 69... I however have no problems with it. Its just a different driving experience.

Yank makes very efficient stalls, I've talked to several people with them and they run great on street cars even with 3,000-3,500 stalls. Obviously you need a trans cooler still though, but they're much more efficient than most stalls. Just more expensive.
