Definitely. For that loose reason, my husband absolutely HATES the stall on his 69... I however have no problems with it. Its just a different driving experience.

Yank makes very efficient stalls, I've talked to several people with them and they run great on street cars even with 3,000-3,500 stalls. Obviously you need a trans cooler still though, but they're much more efficient than most stalls. Just more expensive.
