I have been working on my 69 coupe for the past four years. Ya i'm slow. You are doing much more than what I have had to do. I did replace my rear tail panel. It was a good feeling after getting it welded in. One thing, Make sure the export brace fits in before dropping in the engine. I ended up needing a hydraulic spreader to get mine in and it still doesn't fit right. Previous owner drove it without one.

Mine was way off too but the motor was in. I bolted the middle of the brace to the firewall, then jacked up different corners of the car until it was tweaked enough to line up the holes at the towers. A real pain, but less than 30 min to install.

It's cool to see these 69 and 70 coupes getting some respect, sometimes it seems like the fastbacks get all the attention. Nice job and thanks for saving some great American iron.
