Default 1969 Coupe door glass trim

I am in the process of putting all the windows and trim back on my car after paint, and there seems to be something missing. The drivers side door glass has a trim piece on the back vertical portion to mate to the quarter glass, but the passengers doesn't, also there is nothing on the quarter windowls of either side. I have looked at CJ Parts and can't seem to find the trim piece for the passengers side, does anyone have any idea where I can get my hands on one of these? Also is there supposed to be anything on the quarter windows on the vertical side between the two pieces or is it only on the door glass? Thanks for the help.

The 69 had the seal on the door glass, held by the stainless strip you seek. The 69 quarter frame had no seal. The stainless retainers for the coupe/convertible are not available new, you'll have to go with someplace that also sells used parts, like Glazier Nolan.

I think you'll find the repro is the shorter fastback retainer, not usable on coupe and convertible.

you might get lucky and find that trim piece inside the passenger door. I have a 69 coupe and that is what happened to me. That piece on the back surface of the door glass is glued on and so can be prone to falling off. Mine was laying in the base of the door. FOund it when I was replacing the passenger door panel. Cleaned it up, put new rubber in there and glued it back on. Been no problems with it since. BTW, the rubber inserts that go into the metal piece that mounts on the window is available. I got mine from Dallas mustang.

All I could find was their DOZZ-6322220AR and DOZZ-6322221AR. DOZZ-6322220-A is the Ford part number, and the "63" means fastback, which is too short for the coupe or convertible, which used a "DOZZ-6522220-A".

The rubber seals are listed, of course. They have always been available, for both styles.

Ford even had the stainless fastback piece until about 10-12 years ago, much in demand because of the popularity of the 69-70 fastback, but the coupe part was a one-year-only deal, 69.
