Default 64 windshield wiper arm removal?

Mine is a 64 (may have been upgraded to later) and it looks like there is a little tab between the arm and the window, but I cannot get it to come of. Do I push, pull or pry this tab to get the windshield wiper arms to come off? Any trick to it?
Not replacing them, (cowl work) so I can't look at replacements to see how the mechanism to remove them works.
Thanks.

No, just lift under the edge of the fitting opposite the arm. There's a special tool for this, but as long as you avoid scratching the cowl, you'll be OK.

I used a screwdriver to push up the tab and then wiggle the arm up off of the gear stud.

Large screwdriver at the locking tab under the arm and a larger one behind the arm (under the fitting). Twist both and it came right off! Thank you!
I thought perhaps it was like a "C" clip and might need to be pulled up or something. If only I could have seen under it from the beginning, nothing could be easier.
Again, Thanks!

I'll just say they may be stuck pretty good. I had the same issue and ended up chipping teh paint on my mustang. If I ever have to do it again, I will be taping the area and using padding just to be safe.

The first one I did not expect the way it sprung off. Since I was using 2 screwdrivers, no hands free. I just tossed a towel folded up a few times over and under it. The weight kept it from springing off.
