I have been running nitrous for years in everything from snowmobiles to my Powerstroke. I have even designed and patented nitrous systems for snowmobiles. What everyone has said about nitrous being completely safe if used correctly is dead on balls accurate. Use it incorrectly and it will basicly turn your combustion chamber into a cutting torch for the pistons. Asolutely forget EVERYTHING about nitrous that you have seen in The Fast and Furious. The person that wrote that film should be kicked right in the gooch.

You do not need to change the jetting of your carb. A seperate selenoid will provide the extra fuel when nitrous is added. You dont just shoot nitrous into the motor and run a rich carb. two more jets are added to the plate. one fuel and one nitrous. The companies have the setups run a lil fuel rich to to be a lil on the safe side. You need to check your flow rate at the fuel selenoid to make sure your getting the right amount of fuel pressure when the selenoid is open. I ran a T off my existing fuel line and had plenty of fuel pressure. I actually installed a regulator to bring the pressure down to 6 psi.
start with a 25 shot and work your way up. I wouldnt want to start with a 150 shot and find out I didnt have enough fuel pressure.

This sounds kind of fun. I saw a show on powerblock where they added a 150 shot to a stock 06 (i think) mustang and added a nice 100 hp to the dyno at wot. It made me wonder about the plate systems.

I installed mine in one day and still had time left to go fill up the bottle and run it. I also installed a dual purge kit same day. The plates are nice, if you run a 1'' spacer under the plate. the dual plane intake manifolds make it a lil more difficult for the nitrous to get all the way to front and rear cylinders
I am running the Wieand Stealth intake. It is not a dual plane.
Oh i installed i one inch spacer the other day, now i have nice little bump on my freshly painted hood from it. Ughhhhh
I shoulda went with a 1/2" spacer.
I am looking to see if i can get a stick on scoop like they put on the newer stangs so i dont have to do a molded shelby one and repaint my whole hood.
