Ok, i have a stock 289, it been siting in the car for a while, i go out and start it now and then to get the juices flowing. any way, it has been over heating so i pulled the radiator, took it to the shop, sure enough it is clogged with junk. my question is how do i clean out the water jackets so what is left in the motor dose not wind up in the radiator?
Thanks

I'd take it to a radiator shop. Most radiator shops will have the ability to fully flush out the system. Usually it runs 1 to 1.5hrs shop labor. Keep in mind, you may still need to have the radiator cleaned and rodded out separately.
