I'm putting an '88 5.0 roller motor with a T-5 while I redo the '64 1/2's original 289. This way I can really take my time selecting parts and machine shops, etc.

ive been debating weather or not to rebuild my 289 or just buy a 5.0 engine that is fuel injected....

is there a six speed for the 302?

You can put a T56 behind a 5.0. May require some tunnel mods, but it's a good tranny. Talk to Modern Driveline and they should be able to get you set up.

sweet thanks, i miss the 6 speed from my terminator cobra.....(the good ol days) but i have always dreamed of owning a 67-68 mustang and now the dream has come true...now to "overhaul" it lol...AZ car so absolutly no rust....
