Default Surprise Engine!!!!

Today was a great day.

I bought my 67 back in June and the previous (clueless) owner told me it was a cammed 289. Well, I have been tearing the front clip to shreds this week and began to strip the 289. Turns out its a 302 with 351 heads!!!!! Talk about a surprise gift!

I already LOVE this car!!!

I'm assuming 351W heads? Are they the '69 heads? Those were the best ones to have.

Some how that isn't really a surprise to me.

I would venture a guess that there are many folks out there running a "289" that is not numbers matching that in reality is a 302...
