I was surprised that the guy at the store mentioned it was so easy to mix brands, he said since most paints had went the way of urethane about 5 years ago, I could mix and match as I wanted. Have to admit the last time I was into painting cars was when I was in college about 20+ years ago and alot of this was when I pitted for my cousin who was racing the Russell series and then the Forumula Atlantics - alot has changed (hopefully for the better, this stuff is work)

It is welded. you have to shoot paint in there and do the best you can.

bummer, the guy that had the car before me had the Earl Scheib special I think - there are only 2 layers of paint on the car and about half the 2nd layer came off with the power washer so I will have to give it a go through the grooves
