Default Looking for help on how to ajdust a B&M shifter

Good Morning,

Just picked up this 2002 Mustang with a B&M shifter, automatic
Sometimes the stang wont start unless i push the shifter up to engage the parking switch, I've never messed with one of these before, is there a trick on getting this adjusted right?

Thanks

B&M shifters are generally pretty good. Is it new? Might need to be tightened up. There is a micro switch for the neutral safety. That might need to be adjusted too.
