Default Convertible top care

Is fabric convertible top protectant necessary on new cloth convertible tops. If so, which product does everyone recommend?

Ragg Top seems to be the most recommended on this forum and it has great Amazon reviews.

Hello

I used the 303 product and was very happy with the results.
Tip a lint brush works well on a dry top when you want to touch it up.

Hey Bryan2015,

Over time, that top will begin to lose the ability to repel water and other stains. At that time it would be recommended to use a quality fabric guard. If you would be interested, we would be happy to send out a sample of our 303® Fabric Convertible Top Care Kit. You or anyone else can just shoot us a PM with your full name/address and we will get that out to you. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

I have tried both and prefer 303. Just my opinion.

Hi guys

Again I'm very happy with the 303. Repels the water great. Looks like bran new. Protects from uv damage.

Which of the 303 products do you use on the top once it is clean: the Fabric Guard or the general Protectant? The video above uses a different 303 than is included in the convertible top kit. Thanks.

Great question! Depending on the material of your top, we recommending using 303® Fabric Guard for cloth tops and 303® Aerospace Protectant for vinyl tops. It is important to know the correct material of the top so the product can properly bound to that surface. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know.

Have a great day!
