Always thought those light bars on a convertible looked cool, picked this one up for a couple hundred bucks, took about 2 hours to install. Wasn't thrilled about drilling holes in my Mustang though.

I've got two daughters who have to ride in the back a lot. How much does it affect rear seat access?

yes, purely an aesthetic mod. I use it to swing myself into the back seat and I'm 6-4". It won't drastically affect rear seat access. And it makes a huge improvement to the car's profile with the top down IMO. I've had mine for a couple of years now and my only long term review is a slight rubbing (shining the bar's finish) on the passenger side when the top it up.
