I use a cleaner\conditioner on the top. wondering if I need to do any maintenance
on the mechanical parts of the top. Had the car 3+ years with no top problems yet

What kind of cleaner do you use?
I'm getting a new top next week and would like to keep it looking good.

I've used whatever car wash I use on the rest of the car - is that an issue? My Stang is an 04, and the only wear I've seen so far are a few frayed areas around the rear window (which leak) and on the rear side of the quarter glass on both sides, at the middle, there is a wearing area there I will have to fix at some point, but by and large, the rest of the top looks fine. In fact, I get compliments on it for some reason?

What does Bluemagic Convertible Top cleaner have in it?

Thanks,
-John

I replaced my top with a Haartz canvas top. Does that have a bearing on what cleaner would be best?

I use Raggtopp top cleaner and Raggtopp protectant. Both products are available for vinyl and fabric tops.

I couldn't find it in any stores, but it is readily available online. Google it.
