Default modify rear bumper on V6

I have an '01 convertible with magnaflow dual exhaust (I bought like this). The tips sit below the rear bumper and drag when going in and out of mildly steep driveways. In order to move the tips up into the bumber my options are a GT bumper or cut the original to fit the tips. If it can be cut is there a template available and a trim piece to cover the cut? Thanks
