Default convertible top relay location

i want to re-wire the top so that i don't need to pull the e-brake to lower the top, but i can't find the convertible top relays. anyone know where they are?

I don't know if it's any help but my '88 has the relays behind the rear seat next to the motor. You may be able to acess from the trunk. Not sure.

Just a suggestion. It would be easier to access the relays by removing the back seat.

BTW: I hope you don't let others (wife or kids) the car that are not smart enough to stop the car to raise or lower the roof. I could see my 18 year old raising the top while heading down the road.

You do know that the e-brake handle only needs to be pulled up to the first notch to work the top? I know people that while driving that do that... (didn't say that they were smart... just that I know them)

yes, i'm aware, but i just never liked the aditional step that i had to do to put the top down whilest out on the road (note: i chose not to say "whilest driving")

and i don't know how to remove the rear seat in these cars. if you think that it'll be easier than removing the trunk lining, by all means, go for it.
