Unhappy covertible top issues

Does anyone else have these problems?

Trim coming up on the top of the door next to the window...

Top stopping at each cross bar when lowering.

I have to say that I think most of these issues are dealer induced. The men with the funny noses and the big red shoes that call themselves "mechanics" have made more problems than I care to mention. I now have to take my car to another dealer (which I now need to get permission from Ford to have the new dealer finish and correct their mistakes). If you live in CT, DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO CRESTWOOD FORD IN WATERTOWN! I'm madder than a hornet...

Thanks for any help you can provide.

On the end of that trim piece, there may be a screw that hold the end of it down that has fallen out.

Look at the end and see if there's a spot on the trim piece for a screw to bolt it to the door.

I haven't worked on one of these cars yet,but the convertible fox-body's trim is held on that way in the later years.

Let me know if that works for you.
