Default 1988 convertible interior replacement

The interior in my 88 convertible is shot. Is there anything else that will fit besides another convertible interior maybe a notchback?

David,
Hi, I am a seat professional. I think I remember that the two front seats are the same as a normal Stang. The back seat is like nothing else. Convertible back seats will only fit in a convertible.

yeah you can put front seats from newer mustang. i think up til 98 with no mods, but if you put newer mustang seats in you'll have to mod the tracks underneath to work.

HI David,

We have seat upholstery kits that include pliers and hog rings, wasn't sure if you thought about doing that.

Here's a link to the interior section on our site.

It's been years since I have dealt with a Fox, but don't you pop the bottom up and out and then the back is held in with a couple of bolts that would then be visible... I realize that answer is over-simplified, but I figured it would be better if I knew I was remembering from the right car before I went into too much detail.

i think the front part of the bottom seat comes up while the back part goes down. do this and pull forward and it should slide out of the rail it gets hook under. then take the bolts out like previously stated for the top seat
