Okay, i got my new motor and cylinders into my mustang, but it appears that one of the bolts that holds the cylinder rod to the frame of the top is missing. Does anyone know what thread size it is, and how long it is, so I can run to the auto store and pick one up, or does somebody happen to have a spare one that they could send me in the mail so I can get the top going again?

just go to ford and order the bolt so you are sure you get the correct bolt. It may cost a little more but you will have peace of mind.

i already tried that, they don't have anything on it, they can't even look up the specs of the bolt.

do you happen to have a convertible that you can take it out of for a second to see what size it is?

um, why not take out the other sides bolt/nut and check, go to lowes/fastenal/ace and pickup a grade 8/stainless nut/bolt that you need and put the damn thing on there
