How to tighten convertible boot trim on 91 lx?
One of the black trim pieces that the boot attaches to has come loose on my 91. I have looked, and simply cannot figure out how I access or tighten down the piece. Any help? Looks like its up under the rear deck area, but I cannot see how.

Ruskie,
Those pieces are kept in place with a stud which goes through a hole (body) with a speed nut on the pack side. If yours is loose, the stud has probably broken off.
In order to get to the speed nut with a small 1/4" socket ratchet, you would need to (I think) reach inside of the convertible opening after putting the top halfway down. Can't exactly remember.

Yes. I just can't remember if the access to the stud(good chance yours is broken if it is loose) is inside the convertible opening or through the trunk. If it is up by the quarter glass window, you will have to reach inside that opening.
Good luck. scan

I have issues with belt moulding being cracked along my doors and want to replace the entire band of trim. I found the back pieces you are looking for at cjpony parts - I can't verify they have the matching door pieces though. If you find a supplier I would be interested in a set as well.
