HELP!!! Convertible top won't go up - manually or by motor:(
I need to get my convertible top up on my 03 GT but the motor is dead and I can't get a new motor until Monday when the dealership parts dept opens. Auto Zone said it's a dealer only part
Is there a way I can get the top up manually without replacing the motor??? When I try to pull it up it stops before I can pull it up.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Dennis,
Unbolt the frame from the top of the convertible cylinder (I think it might be a Torx bolt) on both sides. Then you can manually lift the top up and later troubleshoot the motor.
Auto Zone couldn't be more wrong. The motor is easily bought many places besides the dealer.
