How hard was it to pull the wrinkles out? I got the DVD and will give myself 3 days, one to take the top off, one to put the window in and one to finish the top. I was quoted last week a price of 850 dollars and that was the best I've heard.

There is a bit of a trick to getting just the right amount of tension so you don't have wrinkles. Truth be told, I was so afraid of wrinkles that I probably pulled mine just a hair too tight.

My thought process was that the top cost a couple hundred dollars and the cheapest quote I got was about a grand, so I could screw up 5 times and start completely over before I got to the point where I should have farmed the job out.

But that ended up not being a concern.

One and done, ftw.

Default replacing a rear window.

Hi..

Have damage to your rear windshield? While a repair may not be possible, a rear windshield replacement can be quick and stress-free. Safelite can get you back on the road in as little as an hour.

No they won't! Not on a convertible.

Sorry Amit. That repair takes a specialist. You can't just take a glass panel and install it into a Mustang.

It takes a completely new top on a 2005 to current model. On the older Mustangs, it takes a new rear glass panel(curtain) that you have to buy from a convertible top manufacturer's distributor.
