1993 to 1988 top and frame swap

1993 to 1988 top and frame swap
has anyone taken a complete frame and top from a 1993 and bolted the entire assembly into a 1988? is it a direct bolt in? I know the tops are not the same, so they can not be swapped, i was just wondering if i can swap the entire assembly
