Default convertible map lights troubles

Hi everyone, I bought a 2002 convertible mustang base 2 days ago and I can't figure out how to replace the map lights.

Anyway, the lights are in the mirror and the mirror is attached on the windshield... I've tried to pull the bulbs out but it won't do it, it's stuck in there and I don't wanna break it so I thought of taking the mirror apart but the mirror has no screws or a pin number... it's just so weird and I'm wondering if anyone has ever had this issue....thanks for your time.

I had the same problem. I ended up taking a needle nose plyer and broke both bulbs out and replaced them with LEDs. I never took the mirror off the windshield. Hope this helps.
