If the pump is a bit low it will make a vacuum sound plus if the plug is removed with the cylinders extended, it will too. I suggest for you to assemble the system, fill it, and slowly operate the top. You can do that with short activations of the switch. This should allow you to see if all goes well. I do not think any of my verts have operated in perfect unison. Might look at a new one at a dealer just to see.

Alright one more question hopefully, the bows above the door glass on the last frame and top I had they were apparently bent. After I installed this I noticed I have a slight bow in the drivers side one and a bigger one on the passenger side. Now I know I can adjust them and I know where the piece is for it. And I checked it and it seems that they are in their original positions. Should I adjust them since the frame is now on a different car or will the hydraulic system help that by putting pressure on it and keep them right. Nothings bent it wasn't in the pictures that I looked when I bought it and I can push those joints up and down they are fine. They only bow down when I have to help the dowel pins go into the alignment holes up front to clamp the top down.

You may have to adjust them to fit your windows so you get a good seal.
