I have 2006 conv. it has developed a water leak at the seal between the front window and the quarter window. I have been told there no way to replace the seal and that the whole window assembly needs to be replaced at a cost of over $600.00. does anyone have a cheaper solution.

Salvage yard.....When I had my 07 vert, Ford replaced both quarter windows and said the same thing....cannot buy the seal.

I got a like new quarter window from them for $60.

But to answer your question, correct, you cannot replace that seal. Its attached to the quarter window permanently.
