i just keep a good coat of wax on them and a small duster. that's if it doesn't see rain, like mine. i also keep a california duster in the trunk...keeping everything shiny when your just hanging out.

I have the same problem. I live way out na kuntry wif farms n such. Always a lotta dust or dirt on the paved roads. I use mothers chrome polish on my cobra rs. I have also started applying tire shine with an applicator so I don't get any on the wheels. That seems to help avoid some dust. I may try this michelin product that is a brake dust repellant. Any one used that? Later.

Even when you don't have road conditions screwing up your rims........you have the dreaded brake dust. I swear, both my 98 and my 05 have serious brakedust-accumulation issues with the front rims[:@] I think I'm gonna put on some ceramics at my next pad change.

WAX is not a good idea on chrome [&:] Use a dedicated chrome polish instead. This should only be needed a few times/yr if you keep them clean all the time.
Everytime I detail my car (which is EVERY time the cover comes off), I wipe down my rims with a microfiber and a light shot of final detailer spray. Works great Before the cover goes on my car, I hit the whole thing with a duster, and i use a small interior duster on the wheels.
I just picked up some Eagle One metal polish. Its quite pricey but it says its good for chrome. Gonna give it a try this weekend. i can't believe it was the only product out of like ten that didn't say 'not recommended for chrome'.
