I'm trying to find somewhere to buy replacement trim for the rear quarter windows of a 1991 Notchback. I see those repair kits all the time but I don't want to fool with "fixing" it by glueing trim over the top since it will probably look like crap / fall apart . I just need new trim. I been told the trim is part of the actual windows , so if it is, does anyone know where to get either new trim , or the new windows? I have been to several salvage yards and havent found any windows with trim any better than mine . I think I saw a replacement kit somewhere on Texas Mustangs but does anyone have any other suggestions ?

this is what I did and mine looks great I pulled them out took 240 wet and dry sandpaper and sanded the rubber down to smooth them out some then I use 5-7 coats of flex primer to fill in the holes to a smooth look and them put 3 coats of a quailty black gloss spray paint ..took like 2 days to do as I sanded down(400 grit) each coat of primer to keep from getting a build up of paint so you can see the lil holes and low spots.I used 600 on the gloss before the last coat...total coat 15.00

Ok awsome I'll do that and see how it turns out. I guess there is no way I could make them look worse lol. They are pitted really bad , the edges are actually very worn and i mgiht not be able to do anything without chipping them in some places. We'll see though .The guy at the paint shop had told me he could use some kind of epoxy stuff to fill the holes and make the trim look new but he is so backed up right now I'll be on my death bed by the time he can do it. Thanks for the help man.

when you said you pulled them out did you mean the moulding or the whole window and how would I go about doing that? My moulding is pitted on the passenger side and I was trying to figure out the best way to repair it.
