Default Tint Removal: Conv. Back Window

Hey Guys,

Last winter I took the tint off of the back window in my 95 convertible. It was peeling up and annoying me so I just pulled it off, it was old and came off easily. It rained the today and my window got really "fogged" up, but there wasnt anything I could wipe off on the inside of the window or the outside. Any ideas?

i'd try a mixture of rubbing alcohol and distilled water. 70:30 on the inside. spray on, rub in with microfiber and use a separate microfiber to wipe residue away

Sounds like all the old glue was still left behind?

If it is glue, get yourself a bottle of goo-gone. It's a life safer.

Ooo, didn't think that was a possibility. If that's the case than use some GooGone or 3M Adhessive Remover.

my 94 has a glass window, so im sure they are glass for the 95 as well. but yeah, it def sounds like some of the adhesive left over. id either try the goo gone, or if that doesnt work try a razorblade to scrape it off.

update: I havent tried cleaning it or anything yet, but I just went to my car and it seems the window cleared up some, still a little foggy, but a whole lot better than before. Could possibly have something to do with the fact it was raining earlier when it was foggy?
