Default Finally Detailed the Vapor GT!

Well I finally found the energy to fully detail (clay, polish, seal, wax) the exterior of my 08 Vapor GT. I purchased the products (obsessive light polish, hypershine sealant, and wet obsession wax) from Justin at obsessivedetail.com a few weeks ago and had been putting off the detail for some time. It took me about 8 hours to complete (beer breaks included) but it was well worth it. I will probably top it off with one or two more coats of wax this week if I can find the energy to do so with work and all.

Looks great, has fantastic deepth-clarity and gloss!

would have like to seen what your clay bar pulled off the surface of your paint?

How did you apply your products, by hand-orbital-pc (porter-cable dual action polisher)?

I applied all of the products by hand using good old fashioned elbow grease. I am considering purchasing a porter cable for the next detail to lessen the workload though.

As good as your paint looked, imagine when you get a pc you will be able to get that liquid look with the right technique and the right products and wont believe your eyes when you get done with a complete detail.

Tell me more of your process, like how you clayed and then what product you used and your process, as in about how much pressure you applied during your cleaning step and through your lsp (last step product) like did you apply 2 coats of wax to your finish?

Looks nice.

If you think your car looks good now, just wait until you get a PC. You'll be amazed. BTW, that's such an awesome color.
