Default Buy a cheap orbital buffer?

My friend just picked up one of these Wal Mart orbital buffers for like 20 bucks and he swears by it. I've heard that you should not buy cheap. I've also heard amazing things on this forum about the pc7424 and was wondering what I would get for the extra money spent on a pc7424 .

All I intend to do is wax the car regularely, not polish.

there is no point in buying a machine to apply wax. Waxing by hand shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to apply and another 15 to take off. and you cant get in any nooks and crannies with a big orbital like you can by hand. i havent had much experience with cheaper buffers, but i know that you cant buy different pads for it like you can with a PC. i would just save up and buy the PC kit.

It seems to take me about 1.5 hours to wax. I figured an orbital might speed things up a bit.

Does it take you that long because of the wax being too hard to get off? I takes me about 30-45 minutes and that includes spraying it down with detailing spray first.
