Do clay bars work? Was going to try mothers

If you want to know if you need to clay or not... Take a plastic grocery bag, put your hand it in, and use your fingertips to slowly go over the area that you're checking. The plastic bag will act like an amplifier & you'll feel little bumps.
Clay the area & check again w/ the bag. Repeat until you feel nothing but smooth paint.
If you want to go a step further you can get a bottle of Iron-X, especially if you've just picked up your new car & want to get rid of all the rail dust. IMO it's not as bad smelling as some have said - but it is a bit pricy.

I just clay bared by 2010 grabber convert
Grabber blue IMO is a hard color to keep mirror gloss due to contaminants
I own a 2012 wrangler Cosmo blue and it's a pain
I had a $20 autozone credit and bought the clay bar kit
All I have to say is I will never detail my vehicles the same again
The clay bar is unbelievable it's like magic
