Default how do I remove swirl marks

I have had my 09 GT for a couple of weeks now and I seriously messed up by drying it with one of those leather type drying towels and it left a bunch of swirl marks on my nice new black paint!! I usually wash it in those drive up do it yourself car wash places. Are the brushes in these places scratching my paint too? How can I remove these swirl marks without using an orbital buffer? I applied a coat of meguiars gold wax after drying it and it left it shiny but the swirl marks are still visible, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

you have to use a polish and a random orbital to remove swirl marks. It will be next to impossible to polish out swirl marks by hand.

You can hide them by using wax filled with fillers, but they will re-appear and this isn't a fix.

and yes brushes at those places will scratch your car

You bet! Hand wash only if you want to avoid swirls. I made the mistake of using the brushes a few times and it did some unbelieveable damage. The darker the colour of paint, they worse they are.

You will need an orbital, and half a day minimum to remove the swirls.

wow i really dont have time or a place to do that, i guess im gonna have to go to a detail shop and pay to get it done, hope its not too much. I washed my car today with the meguiars gold car wash soap with a bucket and a microfiber mitt and it cleaned the car up really well and it smells nice like shampoo lol. I dried it with a big waffle weave microfiber cloth and it worked really well and fast, i didnt even have to remove the water from the towel, but the swirls and light scratches are still there but from a distance and in the shade it looks really nice so it does not bother me much

check into a california squeege to dry, and whats left over use a microfiber on as well. If you really want to get into detailing google chemicalguys or whatever they are called. They've got VERY nice detailing products.
