Default third brake light???

ive just ordered the third brake light cover its like a tint can anyone tell me the bestwayto install it. like does it go on the outside or inside of the light??thanks

It go's on the outside, you can just slap it on there and hope its even and you dont have any air bubbles. Or you can get a spray bottle and put a drop of soap in to it and fill it with water. Then spary the brake light down with it, and then put the tint overlay on. Now you can make sure its even, and squeegee all the air bubbles out and let dry.

I kind of recommend taking the whole light out, its only a couple of screws I believe. It will be easier to apply it that way. However, it is definitely possible to install it while the light is still on your car

did you ever get this done? Mine looks like sombody sanded it with 400grit and left it, i was wondering if that cheap window tint from walmart would work also

Window tint is for windows and is applied to the inside of the car. Don't do it.

I used window tint film from wally world to tint my reflectors, it worked great.
