Exclamation Got Milk on my Seats !

What should I do!!
I have factory Cloth seats on my '99 v6.

When It first happened i quickly put tissue and napkins on it soaking as much milk out as possible, then I took a rag with water and soap, then ran it over the seat a couple of times. What else should I do?

Thanks

I'd say some sort of cloth/fabric cleaner. That stuff will start to stink bad if you don't clean it good. Same thing happened to a buddy of mine in his focus. He didn't clean it good and one hot day we went to get in and it smelled so bad!

I would get some of that foaming seat cleaner, a bucket of water, and a shop vac. Spray the cleaner on the seat and use a wet/damp rag to work the cleaner in. Then vac the water and cleaner that soaked in. If you have a place to park the car with the windows down to let the seats dry completely. That should be good.

One of the best detailing accessories I've bought for cleaning cloth seats and carpets is the Bissell Little Green Proheat Turbo Carpet Cleaner. It's about the size of a shop vac and works wonders on stains. The heads are small enough to reach most places and the heat helps get most stains or "sticky" stuff (think kids and candy) out. I'm sure there are other brands that work just as well, I just happen to have that one.

Well you might if it dries just put some water on the seat, it wont hurt, but get that yucky milk out, and then just vac it out, or you can rip the seat out. shouldnt be to hard.
