Default Can I use a headlight Rest Kit on my 02 smoked factory hdligts?

Hi, I have an 02 mustang gt that has the factory smoked headlights. Can I use the 3m headlight restoration kit on these tinted headlights? They aren't clowdy but they do have some road chips and could be clearer. I didn't know if the smoked tint headlights could be restored like the clear ones that came factory in the 99-00?

You can use a kit on them. The biggest problem is the plastic delaminates from UV damage. I bought a kit in a silver package for 20 bucks at wallmart that includes a sealer to give them a nice glossy shine again and it worked great. Just take your time and get ALL of it off. You may still have some damage left (I did) but once the plastic is damaged so far it's hard to reverse.
