Default What do you think of this body kit?

Anyone have this body kit?

http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/1...k00136391.html

I am thinking of getting it for my 94 gt convertible. How does it fit? Does it require modification? I bought a body kit for an older car of mine, and had to do alot of custom fab and cut some stuff out of the body.

If anyone has it, got a picture of how it looks on the car? The pictures on the page are of several different cars, would like to see how it looks painted and all on the same car.

a full bodykit for $500 just sounds like trouble waiting to happen. i have heard that the original saleen body kits have pretty crappy fitment, so i could only imagine what the aftermarket ones fit like. and also, if its all fiberglass then if you ever hit anything with the front bumper then its gonna crack, unlike urethane.

If it were a legit kit they would have had better pictures than that. Looks like some cheep-ass Chinese ripoff (also no slots for foglights). Tread lightly...

thats the same body kit I found in 5.0 magazine. Same manf. and everything. If they have it listed in there, it's got to at least be good quality.

just because its in a magazine doesnt mean that its quality. it just means that they can afford to pay for a advertising spot. contrary to your beliefs, those magazines could care less what goes on those spots as long as they are filled and they get their money. there is no way a full kit for $500 can be good quality.

That's not always true. Just because they can make money off advertising it doesn't mean they necessarily will if doing so could ruin their reputation (Advertising products for a company that is cheap and a rip off, no way am I dealing with that place again. They recommended them and everything.)

As far as the opinions, I wasn't looking for them on what you thought about the price. I wanted your opinion on how the body kit looks.

And yes, $500 can get you a good body kit for a car. I had one on my previous car that was 600 and looked marvelous on it.

I would stay away, all I can picture is that 350z (I think) that some guy paid to have a body kit installed for cheap...the shop used wood screws...

Not saying its the same thing...but it's what I picture....bad fit etc.

You can't de-americanize the car with putting rice body kits. I just have to say its a Ford not your Honda civic with rice kits from fast and furious Tokyo drift. That just my opinion.
