Default spilled gas in the trunk

Whats the best way to get the gas smell out of the car. A lady pulled out in front of me leaving the gas station, I had to spike the brakes and a gas can I had just filled tipped over spilling about 1 gallon of gas in my trunk. Luckily this wasnt in my stang.

Light a match...

Seriously though... Take the carpet out of the bottom of the trunk (if removeable) and give it a good cleaning, I found "Capture" brand works very well, should be able to find it Wal-Mart. Clean the metal floor with some Armor-All or your prefered cleaner. Let the trunk air out for a few hours then spray it with some household "Oder Eliminator". Before replacing everything, close the trunk for abit and check for any residuial gas fumes.
