Default How to protect my new headlights?

So I just installed nice shiny new headlights. My question is, what is an affordable product that I can put on them to keep them from delaminating and hazing like the stockers always do? I have some spray Mothers Synwax or whatever the synthetic wax is they sell. Would that be ok to apply to plastic? I know Zaino was ok to use on them but I am out of all the Zaino stuff and can't really afford to buy more right now. Any help would be great . I don't want to apply anything that can damage them in anyway of course.

Hah, redneck fix but I spray WD-40 on a rag and re-apply whenever needed. Works well for me and doesn't damage the lenses. Just make sure not to get any on your paint.

if they were HIDs then may be some cover will accompany them but now if you need to safeguard them from spotting then go for waxing else for breakage purpose, go for metal guards

Just keep it out of the sun and garaged as much as possible. When I bought my car 3 years ago the lenses on my headlights were horribly fogged. You can bring them back to life by wet sanding them by hand, first with 2500 grit followed by 3000 grit, then buff with compound and a wool pad followed by polish with a foam pad. I did this right after I bought the car and they looked brand new again and are still holding up well. And obviously, you'll need to remove them from the car to do this, and you'll need an extra set of arms to hold the lamp assembly while you're buffing them. I haven't tried any of the lens rejuvination kits on the market, so I don't know how well they work. Aside from that, I'm unaware of any products that will protect the lens coating.
