My 04 gt is DSG, and i've found that Klasse All in One, Klasse Sealant Glaze, and Collinite 845 Carnuba Wax (in that order) REALLY makes my DSG pop.

You could if you wanted to. I would personally just put it on by hand with a foam or microfiber applicator. If you do use the foam polishing ball make sure you clean it up good between putting the products on.
