I've used this before, and it did seem to help the black pieces on an X-terra I had. The more I used it, the better the result.

I have used the stuff before and as posted above, the more I used it the better it looked on the plastic.

I used it on the vinyl top on my 05 vert. the top was turnign white form neglect, that stuff worked well. you realyl have to do it each time you wash to keep looking good.

I started using it recently on my shaker hood scoop and CDC Classic chin spoiler. It really works great.

Another option would be Black Wow, I've used many different products for exterior trim and Black Wow is the most durable by far, also a little bit goes a very long way.
