Default What's the Best Way to Keep Pollen Off Your Car?

So I am trying to figure out a good way to keep pollen off my car without having to wash it. Could you just wipe it off with a microfiber clothe?

I just hate that once I wash it, the car is green in a matter of a few hours.

I mean I just want it sparkly when I go out for the drive. I could care less about the pollen in it while sitting in the driveway.

go spend $15 on a california duster. Those things work wonders with taking care of pollen and dust. takes about 30 seconds to dust off your car and it looks nice and clean. using a microfiber would probably just rub it into your paint and give you swirl marks.

I would advise against any type of wiping, whether it be the California duster or microfiber. The only way to really keep it off is use a cover, or keep it in a garage.

Pollen are so small and clingy, that they sit in the pores of the paint, so even if you "dust" it off they will still be there, and cause scratches. Whatever you do, NEVER just rinse the car off as once wet pollen becomes acidic. You just have to break out the wash bucket to do it the right way.

Adam's Waterless Wash followed by a once over of detail spray should do the trick

Cut down every tree around your house. Screw those stupid plants.

Seriously though, I've used the California Duster in the past and didn't have any issues. It helps to keep a good coat of wax on too. Nothings better than a wash though.

Eh, I'll use them, but I already have feelings elsewhere for some products
