I waxed my car a couple months ago and despite my best efforts I ended up getting wax onto a bunch of the trim. I realize now I should have used some tape to mask the plastic off.
With that said, what product/method can I use to finally get rid of the dry wax? I have washed the car multiple times and it has not gone away at all.
There are a few ways to get it off. But first next time use some tape like you said or try some int. dressing. One way to get it off is to use a pressure washer, or a pencil eraser. Or try some of that trim restore product, one is called back to black from oreilys, i think they still carry it. hope this helps.
Try using IPA (isopropryl alcohol) first to remove the dry residue. Don't get it on the body as it will remove any wax. Then use some Poorboys Trim Restorer.
