I got my car back from the body shop (minor accident) and the shop details every car before they give it back to the customer. I asked them to take out the swirls, and they did a pretty good job.

I think they skimped out on the wax, though. They were in a rush and the wax doesn't glow like I usually see. I'm sure there is a light coat, but would it be a good idea to throw another coat of wax on there? Thanks,.

Can't hurt. Especially if you don't think they did a good job on it!!

I would. To the people who work in the shops, your car is just product. A way for them to make money. Your car to you is your passion. The car to the shop people is done in a hurry not like you, who will fuss for hours. Meanwhile they have 3 others waiting.

I would buff it very good first and put another coat of wax on it
