Nothing beats a good hand wash, hand dry, hand polish, hand dry, hand wax, hand dry, powerdrill wheel polish, hand finish on the wheels, hand dry, followed by hand applying the tire gel. Wheels are the only thing I don't mind sticking power tools on.
