Default Cleaning auto glass without smudges & streaks

When I detail my car I get smudges, streaks, etc. in the glass. What do you guys recommend to clean auto glass without smudges, streaks, etc. Years ago people used "Glass Wax", but it's hard to find now? A guy that's into detailing recommended chrome polish at a cruise night.

Duude, with as old as you are I would think you would you know about plain ol' water and newspaper for the outside? Just mist the windows and wipe down with the newspaper. Just be ready to wash your hands from the ink transfer to your hand

For inside a little bit of liquid carnuba wax on a paper towel (like just a smidge). Wipe it around. Let it sit for a couple minutes to haze, then take a clean terry cloth or towel. Also helps to keep the interior glass from fogging! You can also do this outside but if you have pits or chips in your windshield, you have to make certain to scratch out the wax.

Or, you can take the same towel you used to remove dried wax off your paint and just wipe the glass with it. That will work too.

Just make certain your glass is dry before you use the wax, otherwise it just makes a mess.

this is how all the pro's are doing it:

aerosol glass cleaner such as "invisible glass" spray it on, wipe it off with dry newspaper, not magazines. if you want anti-fog rain-x makes a wipe on/off liquid that i find works well again, newspaper.

Might be reviving an old thread but I thought I'd share my method. I use the Scott's blue shop towels paired with either Stoner's invisible glass or Sprayway glass cleaner. I'll use 2 towels folded into quarters, one wet towel that I'll use to clean and then another to buff dry. Generally works pretty well and I don't have many issues with streaks or smudges.

My dad says vinegar and water is best...
water & lots of elbow grease & drying works best.
