Having driven the Camaro SS and the 2011 GT, its not difficult to see that Mustang will, again, outsell Camaro.

Stiggie,

What were some of the differences you observed between the two cars? Let us know!

The new V8 was a lot more flexible and responsive than the Chevy 6.2. The 6.2 has a lot of grunt, don't get me wrong, but the coyote felt like it had power everywhere in the RPM range whereas the Chevy felt like it was struggling above 5000rpm. The interior of the Mustang was also nicer than the Camaro. In handling, at least on highway on-ramps, off-ramps and some back-street corners, the Mustang felt lighter and more responsive on its feet than the Camaro. The Camaro did have a load of grunt from idle though so I'll give it that. Coming from an import, Coyote is more my kind of engine than the GM/Chevy engine. Both are nice cars but the Mustang suits my driving style more than the Camaro so in my humble opinion, for my kind of driving, the Mustang wins.
